WOODENICKEL is a group of  five very talented musicians who put their own flavor to some of  the best and well known cover tunes.  The band is in it's tenth year and has played at some of the more well known venues around town like Alice Cooperstown where they were regulars for almost 2 years. They have played at Apache Gold Casino in Globe, Arizona, Wild Horse Pass Casino in Chandler, Arizona, and the infamous Mr. Lucky's in Phoenix. They opened for "Canned Heat" at the Bikers Against Diabetes (B.A.D.) in 2008 and for Mogollon in 2009.  They have played various benefits and charity's. They give back to the community whenever they can.

WOODENICKEL's repertoire includes songs that cover all gendres. You will hear songs from Bob Seger, ZZ Top, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Temptations, Delbert Mclinton, Michael Jackson, Credence Clearwater, as well as contemporary artists like Collective Soul, Nickelback, Finger Eleven, Sublime, Jason Mraz, John Mayer, Maroon 5, Jet, Weezer, Black Crowes, Sammy Hagar. They have a handful of their originals songs mixed in as well.

WOODENICKEL  is a great band for private party's and events. Their schedule can get busy at times but for some good ole' get down rock and roll that will keep everyone  on their feet this is the band to do it.
